dress code

Jewelry should not be worn in class. Earrings are allowed only if they are the stud variety. Hair should be in a secured bun or tight ponytail for all classes. Shoes may be purchased at the studio.
tuition rates
Tuition is the same each month from September to May. Monthly tuition is due on the 1st of every month. You will not receive a bill. Each student will receive a coupon book that includes payment envelopes for each month including costume payment envelopes. Tuition is calculated on the total hours within a family. Siblings combine their hours for your monthly tuition. A $10.00 late fee will be assessed after the 15th of the month. A fee of $25.00 will be charged for any returned checks. There is a $25 registration fee/$40 family. This is a non-refundable payment.
conduct code
Dancers are expected to come prepared and dressed in appropriate attire with hair up and away from face. Please print your child’s name inside his/her dance shoes and clothing with a permanent marker. All food, drink and chewing gum must be kept in designated areas. Pop cans should be disposed of in the proper receptacle by the pop machine. Any student that displays disorderly conduct or show disrespect to either fellow dancers or teachers will be talked to directly and given a warning. If the problem persists, we will address it with the parent. If there is still a problem, we will excuse the student from class and he/she will not be invited back.
attendance
If a child hopes to to progress, good attendance is very important especially from January to May. Please make sure students are on time for class so that all class time can be productive. Dancers that miss more than 5 classes between January and May will not be allowed to perform in the recital. This will be enforced. Please call the studio to notify the instructor of any absences. No refund will be granted for any missed classes.
recital performance
At the end of each dance season we showcase our students’ talents in our annual dance production. This event is very exciting for our students and we encourage all to perform. Each class will learn a different routine and wear a special costume for the recital. We afford our students the benefits of professional sound, lights, scenery and props. Our dance recital is professionally videotaped. Our recital will be held Friday, May 18th and Saturday, May 19th at the Fredonia High School Auditorium.
costume deposits
Costume deposits are due September 22nd, October 20th, November 17th and final payment on January 13th. Pre-K, Level 1 and Level 2 costumes are $60 per costume. Level 3 and up are $70.00 per costume. Extra Large sizes may be charged extra depending on the costume company. October costume deposits must be paid in full in order for your child’s costume to be ordered. Costumes will be handed out prior to picture day. You will be required to purchase new tights for the recital. They will be ordered along with the costumes. They are only to be worn for pictures and the recital. If the tights get soiled, torn, or runs in them you will have to purchase new ones. Costumes will not be handed out unless all tuition and costumes payments are up to date. Once costumes are ordered no refunds will be given on costume deposits if the student quits classes after October 31st.
cancellations/weather alerts
In the event of inclement weather, it may be necessary to cancel classes. Please tune in to Channel 2, 4 and 7 for cancellation information. We will also send emails regarding any closing information. We do not always follow Fredonia Central School’s cancellations, since roads are often clear and safe by 2:30 p.m. We do not make up classes cancelled for bad weather. If you are not sure if the studio is closed, you may call Cheryl at 679-6679.
insurance
Infinity Dance Academy does not carry medical insurance for its students. It is required that all students be covered under their parents insurance policies and if injury occurs it is understood that the students’ own policy is the only source of reimbursement. You will receive an insurance waiver along with your coupon book or at registration to be completed and returned. If the form is not completed your child may not participate in class.
waiting room
All students are asked to use the coat hooks in the hallway to store their belongings. Do not use the chairs in the lobby. There is a lost and found box located in the locker room. Please check it regularly. Please keep the noise level low in the hallways and be considerate of classes in session. Free coffee is available in the lobby.

She will be available during class times, or you may call her at 679-6679 anytime regarding any questions such as tuition, schedules, sickness, etc. She will also let the teachers know if you would like to speak with them individually.
